(TOP 1000 REVIEWER) () This review is from: Nordic Naturals final Omega, 1000mg, Soft Gels (Health and Beauty) Like green tea and many other supplements that have lax labeling rules, it may be hard to find a fish oil that really delivers what you need instead of a bunch of filler. This delivers what you need.
As you begin to research fish oils, you will learn that you must check the label you can not just rely on the mg on the label, as manufacturers will list the mg of “fish oil,” not the mg of what you are really after Omega 3s, particularly EPA+DHA. Just everything else is just filler and a meaningless number. As an example, Kirkland Signature Natural Fish Oil Concentrate with Omega 3 Fatty Acids 400 Softgels, a reduced cost competitor, advertises “1000 mg,” but when you look at the label, you will see that it only gives 180mg EPA and 120mg DHA per softgel aka 300 mg of what you really want. What is everything else in that pill? As far as we are worried, junk.
Nordic Naturals advertises 1000mg, and really gives 668mg Omega 3s+Omega nine per softgel. The company is dedicated to sustainable fishing practices and exceeds the rigorous Norwegian Medicinal Standard for quality, making sure lower peroxides, heavy metals, dioxins, and PCBS we don’t have any governmental fish oil quality standards in the US.
For reference, I take this product with GNC MEGA MEN Multivitamins 180 Tablets (EXP:11/2011) and Green Tea Mega EGCG(tm) (100 veggie capsules). It is a great regimen and I have seen real results.

I started because of skin problems, but it is helped my cholesterol levels and my in general well being! be sure you get it new though and store it in the freezer or you’ll end up with heartburn and stinky fish burps. (Since I started doing that, I have never tasted fish at all!)

By healthybabe See all my reviews () I have been using about 3000mg of DHA and EPA joint as suggested my my doctor (that is about six capsules of the final Omenga). I noticed some weeks after taking fish oil that the awful eczema that I had been battling for over a year goed away. It went totally away. I went off of the fish oil I used for a couple weeks(I used a cheap brand from Sam’s Club) because my Dr. Suggested using a higher quality brand of fish oil and suggested Nordic Naturals. My eczema started to come back from being off of fish oil but after using the NordicNaturals final Omega it started going away again!
